THIS PAGE COVERS ALL IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR LANDLORDS REGARDING GAS SAFETY FOR TENANTED PROPERTIES

LANDLORD'S GAS SAFETY INSPECTIONS

A gas safety inspection is required by law in the UK, and all landlords should have a valid certificate at all times. A certificate should be issued by a registered Gas Safe engineer only, and ALL gas appliances in a property should be inspected. A certificate is valid for one calender year, and a new certificate must be re-issued on, or before the expiry date.

It is a common misconception that only a boiler in a let property should be inspected for safety, however, all gas appliances, including hobs, cookers and fires must be included.

Our prices  - Landlord's gas safety inspection with just a boiler - £55

- an extra £10 for each additional gas appliance

- Landlord's gas safety inspection including full boiler service - £100

- an extra £10 for each additional gas appliance

- If no one is at home for an arrangerd appointment, our minimum call out charge of £45 will apply

APPLIANCE MAINTENANCE AND ANNUAL BOILER SERVICING

All boiler manufacturers recommend an annual boiler service. If this is not carried out by a landlord, and an issue arrises that harms your tenant, you could be prosecuted for not following the manufacturer's instructions. We therefore, strongly recommend that all gas appliances are serviced annually.
